Ground Penetrating Radar Applications

Radar image of two 55 gallon drums containing leaded paint.

A geophysical survey, using GPR, Magnetometers, and / or Magnetic Anomaly
Detection can be utilized to determine the spatial location of underground objects
such as pipes, pipelines, tanks, utilities, and other buried or subsurface features.

Geophysical equipment permits the location of objects and features that have no visible surface
expression and can provide a general reconnaissance of areas that contain unknown features.

Prior location of a 1000 gallon fuel tank. The tank was removed over thirty
years ago. Now, only contaminated soil remains. Radar was able to constrain the
tank's previous location providing investigators with a point of origin for the
resulting contamination plume.

Radar Surveys can provide large quantities of detailed subsurface
information in a relatively short time. The quality and quantity of data is invaluable in site
evaluations. Please contact us for a complimentary discussion of your site.
